Profile

Hi, I'm Gemma

My goal is to help you to work through your grief so you can find peace and fulfilment after loss.

I have personal experience of significant grief, meaning I can truly empathise, advise, and support you with life after bereavements.

I look at a person’s situation, the circumstances in which they lost someone, the effect it has had on their life, and their feelings and attitude towards their experience, and guide them as to what may best serve them in their life moving forward, so as to create a life after their loss that is fulfilling and honours their loss.

I

  1. Listen

At the end of working with me you will have:

  • Strategies for navigating your grief

  • A sense of peace surrounding your loss

  • Hope and optimism for the future

Purpose and Fulfilment:

  • A clear idea of an action you can take which will allow you to move forward in your life whilst honouring your loss

  • A defined plan of how you will carry out this idea - who, when, where, who with

  • How it will be integrated into your life and the ways and means of carrying it out

  • A sense of purpose and fulfilment

Grief groups:

  • New friends/supporters/allies in your grief

  • An abundance of ideas of how you can help yourself with your grief

  • Ideas of action you can take in order to be able to move forward in your life whilst honouring your loss

I know how lonely and isolating grief can be and I am here to help you feel less alone and live a fulfilling and purposeful life after loss.

What Clients Are Saying

Maureen Doyle

Dublin

"I booked this service following the death of my Husband.

Getting in touch, and talking to Gemma, has been invaluable to me, and has enabled me to be able to move on in my grief, and also to understand and accept where I am in my journey.

I felt fully supported by Gemma, as I felt this was the first time that someone understood me, and that was so important for me.

I now have the confidence to be able to talk to friends and family around the death of my Husband, which I could not do before .

Getting in touch with Gemma, has been the decision for me, and has been hugely comforting, and beneficial to me."

Catherine O'Melia

Wicklow

"I booked this service to gain support in grieving the loss of my son who died in a drowning accident.

I am very pleased with the bereavement sessions I have received.

I felt very supported.

It has really helped me in moving forward.

I would gladly recommend Gemma Kelly as a support to anyone grieving. It is a supportive and affordable service."

Caroline

"I heard about this service through a friend.

I am very satisfied with my experience.

I felt very supported and understood. I felt that Gemma really understood and "got" my grief and experiences.

I felt I could share and have a space to let out what I'm carrying around every day as I wouldn't talk about my grief much even though its there all the time.

I would tell someone who's considering this service to give it a go, if you are suffering and feel alone in your grief to reach out and get support."
